The ECDA Awards for Excellence in Early Childhood Development recognises the exemplary achievements and accomplishments of educarers, teachers, early intervention professionals, leaders and centres that have excelled in their teaching and learning, and innovative practices in the early childhood sector.

This Award recognises the achievements of exemplary educarers who push the boundaries of professionalism and scale up the quality of their curriculum and pedagogical practices. These are educarers committed to delivering high quality early childhood care and education. They make a positive difference in the lives of infants and toddlers, and their families.

This Award recognises the achievements of exemplary teachers who push the boundaries of professionalism and scale up the quality of their curriculum and pedagogical practices. These teachers are committed to delivering high quality early childhood care and education. They make a difference in the lives of young children and their families.

This Award recognises the achievements of exemplary Early Intervention Teachers and Learning Support Educators who excel in designing and implementing early intervention/learning support programmes. They are dedicated to strengthening partnerships with families and the community to make a difference in the lives of children with learning and developmental needs.

This Award recognises the achievements of exemplary centre leaders of ECDCs in the early childhood care and education. These centre leaders excel in organisational, curriculum, and collaborative leadership, and exemplify quality professional behaviors and practices. They are commited to delivering high quality early childhood care and education to young children and their families.

This Award recognises ECDCs which have excellent programmes, processes and learning environments that drive outstanding teaching and learning practices. These practices support and facilitate young children’s holistic development. These centres are committed to delivering high quality early childhood care and education that benefits young children and their families.

This Award recognises ECDCs which have nurtured a culture of innovation and implemented innovative projects that have improved and enhanced existing programmes, processes, curriculum and pedagogical practices, including professional development, partnerships and collaborations. These centres are committed to delivering high quality early childhood care and education services that benefit young children and their families. From 2022, all ECDCs are eligible to submit nominations for the Early Childhood Innovation Award!
